Honey Shortbread


Ingredients:


1oz Brown Sugar

4oz Butter

1oz Honey

7oz Flour



Method:

  1. Cream butter and sugar together.
  2. Add honey gradually.
  3. Work in the flour and knead lightly.
  4. Roll out and use round cutter (2-2½ inch) to form shapes.
  5. Bake at 180oC/350oF/Gas Mark 4 for approx 15 - 20 mins.

I made these one weekend and they were nice, although, I think I rolled them out a little thin which caused them to be dry.  

Overall verdict:  Okay (but I may have done something wrong)
